eSpace: The Center for Space Entrepreneurship
http://www.espacecenter.org eSpace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which was formed in 2009 from a partnership between the University of Colorado and Sierra Nevada Corporation. Our mission is to help create and catalyze entrepreneurial space companies, to help those companies commercialize their technologies, and to develop a passionate workforce to fuel their growth as well as the growth of the aerospace industry as a whole. We accomplish our mission through three programs: (1) The eSpace Incubator, in which we provide a suite of traditional incubator and aerospace-specific resources to entrepreneurial companies, (2) The Straight to Space program, in which we provide training grants to entrepreneurial aerospace companies when they hire new technicians or engineers, and (3) The Venture Design program with the University of Colorado in which we financially and academically support graduate hands-on design projects that we think might have commercial potential. Space Angels Network and eSpace formed a collaborative relationship in 2011 to support space entrepreneurship. |

Silicon Valley Space Business Roundtable
http://svsbr.org The Silicon Valley Space Business Roundtable (SVSBR) is an organization that encourages the growth and development of aerospace-related businesses in California’s Silicon Valley. We closely collaborate with for-profits, universities, other non-profit organizations and government agencies including NASA Ames Research Center. As the west coast’s only organization of its kind, we provide input to leadership groups to expand the area’s business base by providing specific recommendations to improve the space business climate. SVSBR has its sights on the future of high technology. We provide forums by leading aerospace leaders to educate the industry on initiatives and goals. Our educational outreach program encourages students to enter these fields through our support of several schools in the Silicon Valley. Space Angels Network and SVSBR formed a collaborative relationship in 2011 to foster growth of aerospace-related businesses. |
